You can finish the quest without paying real money but not without paying hydarian crystals.

You can get hydarian crystals by selling ships or resources on the market once you have access to it.

The available number of construction slots are given random on each colonization. When you colonize the same planet multiple times you will get a random amount of fields every time.

Victoria, as you can see a lot of people are confused by the word "free". Please change it to "Available". = Available badges for 1000 HC. (It's the same thing in german and probably in russian too)

To everyone else: Free isn't meant as "for free" it's meant as: this badges were not taken by any player and can be purchased for the minimum price of 1000 HC.

Hi,

I am annoyed with clicking every single planet and every single pirate in the galaxy.

That's why I'm here to suggest a HOVER MODE for the galaxy map that can be turned on in the game options.

This hover mode should enable that the information windows of planets, pirates, debris and fleets are opened when the player hovers with the mouse over them. no more need for clicking.

The information window should then be attached to the mouse, not to the object itself like it currently is. This would ensure that players can move their mouse around without the "fear" of hitting the window.


Each info window should also automatically close as soon as the mouse is not over an object anymore!

When you want to access the info window in hover mode you can click the object and then the info window should become fixxed that the player can access it.



Example what should happen when the hover mode is enabled:

We start with the mouse where my cursor in the screenshot is and move it over the pirates. (yellow arrow) -> Pirate info window shows: http://prntscr.com/l97hx5

We now move the mouse over the planet. (green arrow) -> Planet info window shows, Pirate Info window closes.

As 3rd we move the mouse over the debris where this window shows for a brief moment of time and on the fleet. (blue arrow) -> Fleet info window shows.

And last we move the mouse away from any object and the fleet the info window closes.

it may be possible that key retrival has, like the key stealing itself, a probability. keep attacking and see if you get it with 10 attacks in a row on that planet.
(it doesn't matter how much units you send)

Hey guys, I just tried to think about some points of the announcement....

1 ) How does 20% less attack power on the first attack impact the battle duration?

It. does. not. really.

Ok, yes. For large ships the difference will be "a little noticeable" but let's keep it to smaller ships first:
20% less dmg means basically that you need 20% of a shot more. (easy :D).
For Battleships: They attack every 5 seconds and if you have 20% less attack dmg you mathematically need 1 second more to compensate this.
Since they don't attack every second you need 5 seconds more.
How do 5 seconds extra make the battles "significantly" longer?!?!? They don't.

Now for larger ships:
Ok, larger ships are more impacted by this change.
lets say we use something that shoots every 40 seconds like lexxes.
Here you need 8 seconds longer to compensate this.
Since this is not possible the battle lasts 40 seconds longer.
This is a small increase of roughly 1 round in the battle and seems legit to make battles "a little longer".

2 ) On the other hand this chances are relativated by the speed increase of 20% in battles.
For small ships this means that they probably move  so fast now that the time to position them in the battle completely eradicates the lower attack at the start.
For larger ships this means that they probably move a little faster but it's mostly unnecessary because they shoot so slow that after a killing shot the time to re-position is smaller than the time to reload it's weapons to shoot again.


When considering this stuff I come to the conclusion that it has nearly no effect on small units but significant changes on large and slow shooting units.
Further I think that people (especially new players) only will get confused by having 20% less attack damage on the first shot of the battle than afterwards and they will ask themselves why.
Not everyone looks into the forum and reads this and some people still will get "surprised" by this.
I think another way needs to be choosen to make battles longer. This is a funny experiment but the result will probably be:

People start avoiding large, slow units and shift to more smaller units.
People start sending 20% more units than before to compensate the 20% less dmg for instant-kills.
A lot of consusion among small players. (they don't understand it)
A lot of rage among large players. (they only pay more vespene now. AGAIN. The 4th time in a few month I think)


This is my "opinion" on this but I am curious to see if you share it or see things completely different of how I see them. Any answer is appreciated!

When you buy a accelerator you have "it in your inventory".

After you bought the acccelerator you can go to any planet where you build any building. You then apply the accelerators by pressing the green or red buttons.

When you do so the building time of this specific building is reduced.
They are not automatically applied when you purchase them.

Sorry to say it this hard but: This was just fail planning by you.
I wrote in the first reply: "When you come online tomorrow save them for at least 48 hours. so you have a full day in reserve, even more."

It's important to have reserve when doing it. You now noticed that if you plan too tight things will turn out bad. If 1 day is not enough choose 2.

and again you only insult / complain. I wouldn't wonder if you get banned to be honest.

You cannot directly compare the gas station thing to this. But often price raises in real shops are hidden behind discounts. so if they make something cheaper for 2 week they raise the price afterwards from what it was before. Would you prefer this method?!

Further the flagships weren't meant to be accessible by players of <25k points, for xerj even higher because you should've completed quest 8 before or bought "mega space kit 3".

Of course I teach everyone the things that are related to what they ask. You cannot spam everyone with all the infos instantly when they register.

I cannot say if the text is wrong. Can you? Do you own a bestiary? Can you make a video proof? If not it's useless to talk about because you could be as wrong as the text. Otherwise I now expect the proof.

And yes, of course the algorithm were written. But as far I can say it's fair and you can often get better / lower fees when offering smaller lots instead of 1 extremely large offer.

You are doing it too because I am 100% sure the price for which the supermarket or gas station purchases it's stuff is much cheaper than what you pay for it.

I also think that flagships for player <25k are a horrible idea.
And who would buy things from the bestiary if the game offers it for cheaper? Noone would. So bestiary would be useless for those items then.

The description of the bestiary also says that the taken fee goes to the owner of the bestiary - not to vasya.. Further the fees for prices in the bestiary are given by an algorithm that considers the average price for items that currently are offered - I do not think vasya is sitting behind this one and says: "Aaah, today 20% more, tomorrow another 10% onto it".

when you stop raging people could start taking you serious.

On the one hand I can understand your point of view. On the other hand I can't.

I can understand that it looks "strange" for you to offer flagships which are more expensive than the ones you could get through the bestiary. But you have to consider: They do not wanted to destroy the bestiary prices, even if this is not the main reason.

You also have to be aware that anything you spent and give to the admins is a "donation to the project". So you "can be glad they give you something at all".. - when you donate your money to charity you (personally) get less for it than here.

they clearly said in the text above that the prices are higher to NOT ruin bestiary prices. Further the ships from the kits are delivered instantly to your planets. When you buy in the bestiary you have to wait for it.
I have flagship kits on my Xerj account available.

no. Only their fleet stats will be increased by 1% per lvl of aggression.
You still only will be attack by pirates from quests or expeditions
