How it is possible to have such big number of ships/fleet and so little points ?

Player scores are updated once per day. So he bought a lot of stuff today on the market, and his score will reflect that tomorrow.

As for the battle itself, that enemy fleet burned quite a lot of fuel for almost nothing. Judging by aggression, that player has some beef with you, but right now he's just losing more.

What market do you mean ? Trade in game can't give you ships, is there other market ?

If you build Psi Disrupter, you can access zerg exchange network, where ships of any race can be traded.
