Sudden drop in resource production, Metal and mineral production droped

Just noticed that my sum of production dropped, for the metal drop is around 10 000 (sum).
Checked case where I do not have depletion. Metal mine building states production of 7067 units but on the Raw material page, it is 5577.
Similar for mineral production.
Yesterday is was correct.

That by itself is not a bug, since Raw materials page counts all production bonuses separately, but in other places production is shown with all modifiers already accounted.

Secondary production building for metal and minerals were nerfed today, this is the most likely reason you're seeing a drop in total production for those resources.
If you suspect that some production is not in accordance with game formulae, please, provide more information about such discrepancy (building, level, relevant medals/officers/ally modifiers), here or via PM.

I am not familiar with 'nerfed' word but I translated it to myself as 'lower production'. Is this 'nerfed' something like a tide, comes and goes?
What are the rules for 'nerfed' logic?
When a nerfed production will be un-nerfed?

Sorry, I assumed it was a generally known gaming slang bit. “Nerf” means a reduction of utility for an in-game object, in that case, lower production rate.

That's a bit harder to answer, since game administration can change any parameters at any time. Right now, with floating exchange rates, the prices for metal and minerals have “fallen too low”, which is seen as an indication of oversupply (compared to Vespene). So, sources of metal and minerals are being hit with reductions. Most likely, they won't be reverted until new Vespene source (“comets”, which are under development) is introduced into the game.
