when i first tried this game i was able to build manually buildings on the surface of the planet but now i don't know how to do it please help me, how can i fully enjoy this game

press building menu and see the litle robot builder, do click in, after spend resource in research level all buildind ever level unlock any, read analize and try undertand all you see
